4th Grade – Reeves

November Newsletter

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher conferences are Monday, November 6th – Thursday, November 9th. Please make every effort to be on time to your scheduled conference. Conferences are scheduled every 15 minutes and I will be sticking to the schedule.

Book – It
Attached to this month’s newsletter is the Book-It calendar for November. Our goal is 480 minutes per month. This can include both minutes your child reads and minutes that they are read to. Please return the calendar by the last day of the month so they can receive their Pizza Hut pizza certificate.

Winter Weather Dress
As the weather gets colder please make sure your child comes dressed for the weather. We have outdoor recess everyday unless it is raining, too muddy, or too cold. Make sure your child comes prepared. As soon as there is snowfall it is essential that students bring boots and snow pants. Once there is snow on the ground students without boots have to stand on the sidewalk during recess. Students may not wear their winter boots all day at school. They need to have an extra pair of shoes that are not their snow boots. The students are allowed to bring boots, snow pants, and extra shoes to leave in their cubbies. I do request that these items go home each Friday to be cleaned or aired out, and of course so you can enjoy outdoor activities at home!

Thank You!
I would like to say THANK YOU to all the parents and guardians that helped make our Trunk-or-Treat a huge success.  The children really enjoyed the experience.  I couldn’t have done it without great parents and guardians like you!  Thanks!

Character Counts
Congratulations to our October winners, Jabari and Preston, for showing responsibility! We will be looking for friends who show caring this month.

Have a great month!
