Character Counts
The September character count winners for Compassion are:

4th Grade: Janae J.
5th Grade: Jacob B.

The October Character Count is Responsibility. Responsibility shows you have the ability to do the right thing and to make decisions that are positive and helpful. Ways you can show responsibility are:

Make good decisions
Take care of equipment and school supplies

Picture Day
Picture day is Wednesday October 10th. Your student must wear their school uniform.

Planners
Planners should be going home daily with the exception of Fridays. The students fill out their planners each day and they need to be signed by you. This is a good place to write any concerns or questions you may have. This is also a nice way to let you know what your student is learning each day.

Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat will be held on Halloween Wednesday, October 31st. Students may wear their costumes all day.  Face masks will only be allowed during Trunk or Treat.  No full face makeup, weapons of any kind or scary costumes. Also make sure your student has a bag to put their goodies in.

Halloween
We will be having a class party after Trunk or Treat. I will be playing a G-rated movie. I am also encouraging healthy snacks, please. I will send a list home soon so you may choose what your student would like to bring.

Thanks!
Mrs. Miller
